Coffee :)

Hope you all enjoyed your First Day of Summer yesterday!

After a bit of brainstorming, trying to figure out what would be a good, somewhat-gender-neutral "First Post" theme to start off with, I finally chose one: Coffee!

A Pint

...Of Pinterest that is...

Although, if you're having a pint, while you're on A Pint of Pinterest, while you're checking Pinterest, I envy you ;)
 
Some of you may be wondering, "Okay, so what is the point of using 'A pint'?". Well, I needed something to regulate how many pins I would feature in each post. At first I thought, "A," "A pin" will be perfectly fine... Just one pin per post. But then I realized that using the term "Pint"calls for more than just ONE measly pin. I mean really... Who do you know, who drinks pints of something, and only drinks one pint at a time? Am I right? Or am I right? Luckily, I'm not lefthanded, so, naturally, I'm right... handed... Which is the hand that will hold a pint... Eventually... In the future... 
 
Oookaaaay! Back on track here Courtney!

Ahem... So... Going back to the point of a pint. I did some "research" (Aka: Google searched) and found that the American Pint is made up of 16 fluid ounces. Thus, on this blog, with each post, I will feature 16 different pins. Unless, of course, I go with a "Half-Pint" (Yep, I read, watched, and loved Little House too!)... In which case, I will feature, not 16, but 8 different pins... This may occur in the very middle of each month, or the very middle of each week... Or both... We will just have to see :)

Anyway, I hope that you enjoyed this post, had a few laughs, and look forward to tomorrow's debut of pins I have to share!

Preliminaries :)

Hello There! :)

 My name is Courtney and I literally just visualized and chose to create this blog an hour ago! At 9:09 in the morning in front of the fridge, to be completely precise... 

Unfortunately, I am sick this morning and was unable to make it to church. Fortunately, I was still able to be productive despite this setback, but only time will tell how it will progress...

 I apologize in advance if I slack off at any point. I hope that, for the most part, you enjoy reading about and discovering a variety of pins as much as I enjoy sharing them with you. 

 For now, I am still figuring out the format and organization of this blog, so bear with me as I test things out. 

 There are a few things you should know right from the start though. 

1. I am going to do my best to sensor the pins that I feature... There may be a few exceptions, but, for the sake of my readers, I will do my best to change the photo if I am allowed... Or I may simply post those pins in a different section/page of the blog... I am not exactly sure how to address this point just yet, but I will asses that bridge when I come to it in the future. If you have any suggestions, please, let me know :)

 2. I may leave out a few Pinterest categories here and there. If you would like me to feature a pin or category or just something/some things you would really enjoy seeing featured on my blog, PLEASE send me an email! I desire to have as much constructive feedback from my readers as possible throughout the duration of my blog!

 3. A Pint of Pinterest is a blog I am creating and maintaining for fun. If it grows into something more than that, I will be shocked and excited! For now however, I hope that you enjoy my most recent attempt at blogging :)

 So now that most of the preliminaries are out of the way, I have to go and brainstorm the best way to explain the name and organizational nature of my blog... Or at least the way I see it now... 

You will have to tune in later for that post though... Trust me, it will be worth it :)

Right now, I should probably "set up house" and decorate my new layout with gadgets and photos and such...
